My June

I would call June 2009 “My June” because I’m so high for finishing up my current job by the last day of May!

I do NOT hate my job, it’s a decent job indeed. But quiting the job simply means the starting of a summer holiday. It allows me do alot of things that I fancy — those simple things that I am capable to do but the works wouldn’t let me go.

Just a brief to-do list in the next few weeks:

I will finish up the thesis correction (ok, this’ not an interesting one)
I will write a proper CV and send out (ok, even worse)
I will fool around Liverpool and some cities I have been in UK, and take many nice pictures of them. Then I will make a little album together with some writings, make sure I will not forget them in the future.
I will go to Ireland with Jack etc for a break
I will meet friends as usual
Read many books and watch many many many films
I will quite my Chinese teaching job at Wahsing Chinese School and am going to miss my students secretly
I will pack up my stuff
I am ordering an Olympus mju-I film camera and black&white films, for the “My June”. I thought I would get a Olympus mju-II but didn’t have much luck at ebay. muj-I is not a bad choice — top-quality len and robust functionalities

in the middle of the world

An old schoolmate committed suicide; an ex-gf (now a so gd friend) getting marry; my sis got pregnant; hundreds of friend became somebody else.

I have not yet had lunch and am hungry right now.

I love this summer in particular and am thinking France + backpacking in the end of June.

Latest Notes

my wall ‘painting’ was removed (before i have managed to take a picture!)
the bugs have grown and have got into my head
did all the things facebook may pleasure me, and write and blog. of course in working hours what do you think!
later tonight: go back, have shower, turn off my brain and sleep sleep sleep sleep ZZZzzzz….
saturday morning: continue the hibernation
saturday afternoon: go to FACT for internet, books and tea
saturday nite: karaoka again (do fancy drink, dance or talk in a pub. but never mind)
sunday: house dinner with some friends
the rest of the weekend: teaching at chinese school; phone calls; play with my NEW camera; writing; home gyming; watch film; cleaning my room; beach, if sunny and free to go; etc.
next week: a NEW ME!

P.S.

i’m stuck with all the works. i wanna cry but they won’t let me go
I started to write poems within the lines of code and documents
why all my workmates are so much older than me!
I saw a cat fell down from the top of the tree outside the window! (right, it must be some sort of delusion, or a bird suddenly forgot how to fly, or it just a big dust)
okay, leave the works in peace and start my ‘tonite’

New Camera Test

I have received my new DC yesterday afterall. I couldn’t wait to test it and rushed to take some pictures before went to bed. Should play with it more later this month!
