Since I had sold my keyboard last year when I moved back to HK, I always want to buy one back and finalize my studio setup. So this what I got:

  • loads of books
  • insurance contracts
  • a sound receiver for my Chinese Violin (a made-in-China version of Roland EH-10)
  • etc.

My wishlist so far:

  • a new, better computer for my studio
  • an iPhone
  • a small hi-fi system play CD and mp3
  • a fan placed under my work desk at office

My dream:

  • save alot of money

I would call June 2009 “My June” because I’m so high for finishing up my current job by the last day of May!

I do NOT hate my job, it’s a decent job indeed. But  quiting the job simply means the starting of a summer holiday. It allows me do alot of things that I fancy — those simple things that I am capable to do but the works wouldn’t let me go.

Just a brief to-do list in the next few weeks:

  • I will finish up the thesis correction (ok, this’ not an interesting one)
  • I will write a proper CV and send out (ok, even worse)
  • I will fool around Liverpool and some cities I have been in UK, and take many nice pictures of them. Then I will make a little album together with some writings, make sure I will not forget them in the future.
  • I will go to Ireland with Jack etc for a break
  • I will meet friends as usual
  • Read many books and watch many many many films
  • I will quite my Chinese teaching job at Wahsing Chinese School and am going to miss my students secretly
  • I will pack up my stuff
  • I am ordering an Olympus mju-I film camera and black&white films, for the “My June”. I thought I would get a Olympus mju-II but didn’t have much luck at ebay. muj-I is not a bad choice — top-quality len and robust functionalities

So I started to think: how about buy a new digital camera because I have my old *Canon IXUS 500* sent back! Yes, right, it is a practical need because I have a blog and I’m having a trip this Easter. Ok, then I started to think which camera model is good. I had a Canon before so I want a difference. Sony is so market oriented and the high pixel spec is not my only concerns. *Fujifilm FinePix F200EXR* is great, but over my budget. No D-SLR cam because they are not handy and even more expensive! Then I started to think *Fujifilm FinePix F100fd* — a second option of FinePix F200EXR, looks good. Then I started to search the ebay, found a good price, and started to think: how about click the button? Then I clicked the button, and the next one, and so on. Then I have bought it and it’s already the afternoon (The sunny day from the window blame me~ The beautiful sunshine covers all corners of the world but my office~ I chantted.) I should really start working!
