As the title describes, I’m in the middle of my BJ trip. Here is a quick post. Well, I don’t want to long list things again, pictures may be easier. I have bought a lomo DC earlier and this trip relies on it completely — the picture quality is fairly good but I like snapshotting.

Two more things to say:
October 18th, 2009

I had many dreams last night and I remember 2 of them:
Dream 1. I was with Steph, an old friend, and some other people taking MTR. Steph wrote her questions on paper and showed them to me: she first asked would I cry at all, I said yes. Then she asked how often, I answered not often. She then condemned me for my cold blood: how could you not cry with those songs you listened to? I don’t agree with her but I didn’t say. There was a music player or something with a screen. I made up quickly a playlist and it started with a Karen Mok’s song. Some of her songs made me cry before.
Dream 2. I was talking to my mom and suddenly I remembered that I should plan a trip to Chile for some conference. I forgot the contents of the conversation between us but I was happy and started to mess up the plan: may be I would go to Liverpool after Chile for visit? My mom suggested that may be she could meet me at Liverpool so I can show her around.

當我們年輕
那時,世界包圍了我們:槍聲如雨,
我們不打算逃走。

- I’m back in Hong Kong
- a few things to do next: body check, visiting people, mainland trips, job, keep writing, plan book publishing, friends’ weddings …
- Nose alergy — Hong Kong, city of dust
- Like imaginary memory, be sick of the past hurts realistically.
- Oh! I need a job, I found so many things to buy! — Hong Kong, city of I should spend money for the rest of my life thank you very much!
- I need a flat. I need privacy.

[[SPAIN]]
[PPL]
- people are happy
- people tend not to care about rules: no queue at bus station; some ignore traffic light (also the drivers!)
- people are nice, polite, and welcome tourist
- no bad kids
- not many people speak fluent English
- small population of chinese and other foreigner
- Chinese open “chinese store” beside chinese restaurant. chinese food has no place in spain
- people are sporty; have beautiful body — hard to see a fat man/woman
[ECON]
- SME shops everywhere
- privately owned small shops can survive
- things are not cheaper than UK
- food: expensive (6+euro for a mcdonal meal)
- public transport: cheap (1.xx euro for most bus; taxi costs almost half of that in UK)
- many people are paid at minimum wage (around 600 euro/month as i remember) and live a good life
- haven’t seen many manufacturing industries
[FOOD]
- i fallen in love with the bar-cafe
- bar-cafe: it’s like spainish style 茶餐廳; sell any kinds of drink + tapas and food
- all day
- sea food are nice
tapas are nice
diet coke is called “cola light”
beer is cheaper than soft drink (1-2euro for a 300ml bottle of soft drink)
[LAYOUT]
- buildings are generally taller than those in liverpool
- old church and building everywhere but rather clean and tidy
- Graffiti everywhere like part of the culture
- roads filled with buses, taxis and motor car
- streets are wide and comfortable in commercial area
- blocks pack tight with lanes in residential and older regions
[WEATHER]
- was 45`C in Sevilla; around 30 in Malaga
- quite dry. nicely hot. slightly windy
[ETC.]
- English songs on the radio
- many festivals
- train: clean, tidy, big, comfortable
- beach, beach, beach
[[PORTUGAL]]
(this post is long enough!)

- Graffiti rule: 1) respect — does not cover one another; 2) never paint on religious place like temple

The problem of not updating a blog often is to have many different things piled up to manage at one time. So I better leave it for pictures:-
Descriptions: in brief, some Graffiti (by me and Eric) + computer-based re-creation graphics + Liverpool Tatoo Convention 2009 + my Olympus film cam and B&W films arrival + a nice old to-be-repaired car.
I’m addicted “re-creating” graphic design lately. And thinking it’s a good idea to put some good works into my book (if it would finally be published). Thinking to add a gallery in this blog!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realised God doesn’t work that way, so I stole one and prayed for forgiveness.

I would call June 2009 “My June” because I’m so high for finishing up my current job by the last day of May!
I do NOT hate my job, it’s a decent job indeed. But quiting the job simply means the starting of a summer holiday. It allows me do alot of things that I fancy — those simple things that I am capable to do but the works wouldn’t let me go.
Just a brief to-do list in the next few weeks:
- I will finish up the thesis correction (ok, this’ not an interesting one)
- I will write a proper CV and send out (ok, even worse)
- I will fool around Liverpool and some cities I have been in UK, and take many nice pictures of them. Then I will make a little album together with some writings, make sure I will not forget them in the future.
- I will go to Ireland with Jack etc for a break
- I will meet friends as usual
- Read many books and watch many many many films
- I will quite my Chinese teaching job at Wahsing Chinese School and am going to miss my students secretly
- I will pack up my stuff
- I am ordering an Olympus mju-I film camera and black&white films, for the “My June”. I thought I would get a Olympus mju-II but didn’t have much luck at ebay. muj-I is not a bad choice — top-quality len and robust functionalities
- Book ticket back to HongKong
